TennoGen: Dual Nikana Submissions Now Accepted!

Greetings Tenno,

We are excited to let you know that Dual Nikana melee weapons can now be submitted for TennoGen!

Files and a brief info blurb explaining the Tri count and other requirements are now listed under Melee Weapons (Mesh Swaps) in the Content Files and Examples tab of the TennoGen guide.

• Tri count: 9000 for both hands and sheathes.
• Each Nikana needs its own sheath.
• The sword should not exceed the length of the longer blade provided in the example.

No leg armor? I was hoping that was coming this year for Tennocon.

Yeah there is a couple being made on steam workshop

Lmao there's already tennogen leg armor in the game right now!  They're the Krtrima Leg Armor.

Whats the point, if we only get 1 tennogen/year and that will be mostly sentient/wisp skins anyway?

Yeah bro okay so with that logic they should just cease ALL of it it entirely RIGHT now and never release anything new for cosmetics in ANY capacity? No new themes, no weapon additions, etc etc.

We've shipped two TennoGen batches so far and are reviewing submissions for a third! No Wisp skins this year but we always allow & encourage TennoGen artists to work on what they want to make, provided it follows the program guidelines. :)  

You know what I miss? Grineer & Corpus-themed skins. Leaning more towards Corpus Warframe skins for obvious reasons. If anyone wants to try, well...

Couldnt existing Nikana Skins be applied to the Dual one? I mean, its basically just applying the same weapon and sheath model over the dual ones.

Also could we get the Gemini Surt/Ymir skins mix like Teshin used to wield? <3

There are still issues with Nikana skins - sheath clipping mostly, hopefully it won't be worse with dual Nikanas...

People like wisp? That is the simple answer. You probably won't see any wisp skins for a while, she has most of her skins exausted from the workshop. There is like 2, maybe 3 that they could add. However, considering we have gotten so many over a period of time, we most likely will not for a while.

I hope, there is so many frames without skin for like years and so many good designs get tossed because some sentient skin or wisp skin. I see this trend in other games too. They put a bunch of characters weapons in it and only the popular ones getting skins. Yeah they want the most of it from, but sometimes a new look can help the unpopular things ( some people dont like it because think its ugly  the original design and thats why they don't use it)

My opinion is different than yours as I would like to continue to see wisp skins, but I do have a lot of bias towards her considering she is my main. However I understand your frustration as my main before Wisp was Valkyr and it was a couple of years before she got skins (Since the last she got). 

But as said before and confirmed by DE on this thread, there is no confirmed Wisp skin for the rest of this year, you don't have to bet on it or doubt it.
